Grab your buddy and pickaxe because we are hosting our first Fortnite Duos Builds open tournament. This event will be available to all ages and will include cash prizes and medals for the top 3 teams. The event will be played on Saturday June 24, 2023 at 2pm. Walk-in registration and free play starts at 1pm. To participate in this tournament there will be an entry fee of $15 per person or $30 per team.
We will have single registration in case players don’t have a teammate. Each player needs to register individually. Players must play on their own EPIC account and must be at least level 20. This event will be played locally so each game can be verified for placement and elimination points.

Fortnite Tournament Scoring & Rules
The tournament will be played based on the Fortnite Duos Cash Cup rules and scoring format.
Format: Open Match Play on Battle Royale Duos Builds.
For this Duos Builds Open, each game session will last approximately three (3) hours. Players may participate in a maximum of ten (10) matches during a Duos Build Open session. Players will earn points based on the scoring system listed above. Matches for a Duos Build Open session will count only if the match begins before such session window closes.
Tiebreakers will be determined in the order presented here: (1) total points scored; (2) total Victory Royales in the session; (3) average eliminations in the session; (4) average placement per match in the session; and finally (5) total seconds survived across all matches.
Scoring System: Duos Builds
At the conclusion of the applicable Duos Build Open sessions, the top 3 point earning teams will be declared the winners.
